Copley Engineering Ltd are an ISO 9000 accredited company, offering a wide range of engineering services such as assessment, refurbishment and repair, with our primary operation being a sub contract machine and assembly shop.
With some CNC utilisation, our mainly conventional machine shop produces a wide variety of precision & quality parts utilising high value materials, for use in the pharmaceutical and offshore industries, together with general & more rugged applications such as quarry equipment, crushers and rolling mills.
Our well-equipped machine shop allows a wide range of parts to be produced, also machine operations to be performed on larger castings & fabrications such as gear boxes & base plates.
Avoiding maximum allocation of equipment enables us to support local business with essential quick turn-round work, usually associated with break down and critical parts failure. Shafts, bearing assemblies, pulleys, sheaves, gears, wear parts & valve parts are all typical examples.

Copley Engineering’s roots trace back to the early 1900’s (formerly James Garside & Sons), with the 1980’s seeing the adoption of the current name; derived from our works and head office which is based in Copley, Halifax, West Yorkshire.
